Well, I pretty much knew that there was no compression at all in the rear rotor. I thought I once heard that you could still try to fire it up... but that seems kind of foolish. I did try it and no luck. Engine turned over and I got three powerful puffs from the front rotor and zero from the rear. Anyway, I guess it's time for a rebuild... correct?

sounds like it , did you just buy the engine , put it in and find out it needed a rebuild??
