If you were gonna do that, you'd probably want to redrill and tap the block to use the FC engine mounts. Then, you'd probably need to run a standalone or rig up an S5 harness to work with it. Then, you'd want to ditch the stock twins, because, ask any FD owner, the vacuum lines on it all will make you want to slit your wrists...not across, but down to ensure that you get the job done. Then, because you ditched your stock twins, you'll want to get a single turbo set-up which usually costs between $2500 and $Ohmyf*&kingGOD! Then because you upgraded your turbo, you'll want to upgrade your fuel set-up.........
See where I'm going with this, so to elaborate on BlueTII's response, it's not a great idea unless you have very good funding. Find a TII block, or turbo a 6 port, and go from there, FC blocks are cheaper to rebuild right now too.

Hope that helps.

Jesus man.

The FIRST thing you should know here is that this question has been asked multiple times with the same answer. SEARCH!

Second thing you should know is that as your first post to the forum it should not be a question that will result in the answer SEARCH!

Third thing: SEARCH!

It is HIGHLY unlikely that you will ask a question that hasnt already been asnwered in your first 100 posts. So do yourself the favor so you dont have to have this repeated to you a billion times from people much more pissy than I am. Search.

the answer, conveniently enough, is in the FAQ, which stands for Frequesntly Asked Questions.

The big question is do you have enough money. becuase if you do then yes you can swap a REW into an FC. You will spend close to if not more than an FD will cost, but you can do it.

No.

If you're "thinking" about doing it, then you can't afford to do it correctly.

How about...

Please search before you post. Most questions have been asked in the past.
This forum represents a huge knowledge base of information that took years to develop. Because of this, almost all of the common questions (and many of the not-so-common ones) have been asked and answered many times before. The search function is located at the top right corner, accessed via the button that says "Search". Getting a good set of search terms is important. Generally, keeping it short and simple will get the job done. For example, if you are looking for info on rebuilding an engine, searching for "engine rebuild" will generally get better results then "how do I build an engine". If you want to know about the 3800 RPM hesitation, don't search for "hesitation", but search for "3800 hesitation" instead.

The Archives contain previous threads that were found to be very helpful. These include how-tos, information, and basically anything that was worth saving. It should be the first place to check after (or sometimes even before) searching. Many of the archived threads go into great detail on commonly asked topics.

Don't expect to get much help if you ask a question that can be easily answered via a search or an archives check. The mods may close commonly answered threads with an explanation to use the search or check the FAQ.

Please read the FAQ
The FAQ is the largest list of common questions and answers on this forum. It should be one of the first places you check before you ask a question. 99% of new user questions are already covered in the FAQ. Don't expect to get much help if you ask a question that is already covered in the FAQ.

The mods may close commonly answered threads with an explanation to use the search or check the FAQ.
