PD from S5

So, I recently got an S5 fuel rail. I noticed that the PD on the end doesn't look like the S4. The one I got doesn't have a plastic cap on it. I was wondering if the PD on the S5's fail as much as the S4's. I noticed that my S4 PD had a screw that had fallen out. The S5 PD doesn't look like it has that screw.

If the S5 PD has failed, do I need to replace the entire fuel rail to make it work, or does the PD screw out?

Thanks!

Yes, you must replace the fuel rail on the S5 if the PD fails.

Bummer. Guess I am going to be buying a banjo bolt and using both S4 rails on the S5 setup. LoL. Wasted my money on the S5 stuff.

If it's new then use it. They last for more than 15 years, so you're probably not going to be around when it's time to replace it again.

I meant to say you'll probably not have the car in 15 years.
