I have an 87' Rx-7 turbo, i had to do a lot to it cuz th ekid before screwd her. But im very happy with it. I became sponsored. got a Greedy 20G turbo and intercooler, and of corse a piggyback and now im at 385 with everything which includes a few smaller things. but it was cheap for me and easy, well not way easy but a lot easier then what you wanted to do. just me putting in words

No aftermarket ECU would have a hope of controlling them in the same way as the stock ECU.

And the Cosmo was auto, so I don't know if you'd even want to go down that path.
Doesn't matter, the auto is controlled by it's own computer seperate from the ECU. A mate of mine did a 5-speed swap into this 13B JC Cosmo and the engine ran perfectly without any wiring mods.

I've heard mention of folks making the 13b RE operate on a regular T2 ECU...
Shouldn't be any problem all, since as far as the ECU is concerned it's just the same engine with a bit better breathing. All the important inputs and outputs are the same.

I bet your sponsor is happy that you don't know how to spell GReddy. And there is no 20G intercooler...And if your running all that jazz without any way to control timing, weee!

Oh and uh, how does this relate to the topic, at ALL?

My input: 13B-RE all the way. There are a lot more interesting manifold options for the FD and post-FD style rotary engines. With the 13BT, you are limited to basically stock, custom..and..yeah.
