looks like this one has a lot of mods on it, and it should if their claiming its kickin out 290. the problem with a lot of motors like this and JDM 13b's in general is that most of the companies aren't willing to give any sort of limmited warranty whatsoever on rotary engines. i'm looking to swap mine out of my Turbo 2 also, cuz of a bad oil seals. basically you could get the motor in your car, it wont start up, and the company says tuff ****...

basically no. i don't condone spending $2,200 on a used "modified" motor with unspecified mileage or warranty.
search for turbo swap or read the faq and you'll quickly find that you have options but an imported motor might not be the best one. And you're gonna have to know your stuff to be making these engine swaps, so I'd suggest reading more online before trying to buy a used j-spec motor.

buy one off ebay....there is a company that always takes their pics in the snow. they are great....type in rx7 engine. ive bought three engines from them, none of them bad. it would be wise to rebuild it before you put it in your ride. dont trust anybody when it comes to engines. i bought a s4 TII engine for $900.
