13b tranny on 13bt?

Can i put an na s5 tranny/ clutch/ flywheel setup on my s5 turbo II motor? I looked through the archives and could not find a direct answer. Also i was curious if i could use the stock s5 gtu wiring harness with a power fc? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, you can use an NA trans with a TII motor. You will need to swap flywheels, clutch, pressure plate and slave cylinder. Not to mention getting a custom driveshaft to mate the NA trans to the TII rear.

I don't know about the wiring harness question, someone will tell you.

Also... the NA trans won't hold up for long under the added hp and torque the 13BT makes... Just an FYI.

well the reason i would do this is to complete my turbo swap into my gtu as i dont have the money to buy a turbo two tranny driveline, diff setup and the turbo two tranny i have is broken.

Not nessasarely, I mean who says he is ganna run around dumping the clutch everywares. I an turbo'ing my N/A with no intentions of replacing the tranny and my fix for that is to not put much shock onto the drivetrain.

I had this discussion with Kevin Landers. He had his turbo vert running a stock NA transmission for a while (I think it was a vert) and he said the tranny one day just **** the bed. He also said he did the occasional hard 1-2 shift, but never really beat on it.

Just some info
