13b tear down/swap guides?

Was wondering if there is any step by step guides or books on how to tear down and or swap out the 13b motor.

im getting ready to pick up my first rx7 after leaving the honda world of life and would like to pick up a rolling shell and buy a jdm 13b and send it in to mazda trix for street porting and full rebuild then swap it back into my 7 but ive never worked on one and need a guide of some sort. Also 'special' tools for the rotary engine?

thanks for the info!

Check out the tech section on Rotary Resurrection (http://www.rotaryresurrection.com/2ndgen/techmenu.html) It has guides for engine removal & tear down and a bunch of other useful stuff like emissions removal.

I suggest that you sell the car.

If you can't do the research on your own, then I don't think you be able to work on this car. Topics like this have already been covered, and if you looked through for about 5 minutes, I guarantee you'd have found your answer already.

Don't mean to sound like a dick bro, but seriously..Come on!

- Buy a Haynes manual. There's just about everything you need to know in there. If that's not enough......

- Read through the FSM located in the FAQ's. After that...

- Post a question asking for help when you get stuck.

The FAQ has links to two good rebuild threads in the Archives.
