13b rew Call me an idiot lol
Alll righty then i"ll just get right into this I just need quick answers i need to get the ball rolling, my motor in my car is dieing
13b rew keg Center iron Drilled and tapped for mounts
T2 front cover
Fc oil pan
Mega squirt
S5 hybrid turbo (60-1 coldside)
I can get a 13b rew keg for $250 or should i wait for a good s5 T2 keg?
The Rew needs to be rebuilt but ran when it came out
im not sure what intake manifold i can run i assume Fd?
I have an Extra T2 center iron would i be better off swapping that in when i rebuild the motor? are the ports that different?

the 13BREW breaths better and by having another one to swap in it may or may not be easier to put in since you wouldnt have to swap everything to a S5 keg. The S5 keg would need S5 intakes or a S5 LIM and an adaptor (or good fab skills) and a S6 intake which you already have. The S5 iron to my knowledge wouldn't exactly fit right. It might bolt up to the engine and you could seal the engine with that iron but the intake bolt spacing could be different.
Oh crap, I re read your post and now I'm confused. So you have a S5 Turbo car and those parts listed are ones that you have and not pertaining to your setup? If you do indeed have a S5 engine then rebuilding it would of course be easier than droping in a 13BREW. Maybe its just me but I need some clarification on the setup we're talking about. Then I can give you all the details you want about 13BREW swaps or rebuilding this and that, and what fits and wha doesn't. Cheers

Ya sorry guys let me be clear on what i have now
I have an S5 n/a turbo with all the t2 parts intake exhaust etc, 91 fc chassis
i have access to a 13b rew and I want to rebuild it before it goes in Could I use
1) A T2 center iron to make mounts easy
2) An S5 T2 front cover To help seal up the oil pan
3) Reuse my hybrid turbo S5 turbo
4) Reuse an S5 T2 waterpump/crank pully/ alternator
Im assuming I would have to use Fd intake manifolds as the motor im getting is just a keg

The Megasquirt is a good standalone, but it requires a very good installation (to eliminate electrical noise issues) and a knowledgeable owner to tune. There aren't many rotary tuners who will mess with it. I'm concerned that you will be getting in over your head trying to tune an REW by yourself or by handing it to some no-name local "expert." Even if you don't blow it up you may have a lot of driveability problems, especially since there are very few basemaps available for Megasquirted FD's.

you can use the T2 center iron but then you are gonna need a spacer(not recomended)or a custom lower manifold to fit the block cauze the center ports wont line up with the REW lower intake and if you try to use the T2 lower the secondaries wont line up plus the upper front bolt that hole the mani in place wont work. With the t2 oil pan and front cover in the REW you are gonna need to do some mods in the front of the motor to make it seal(small gap in the front)

so i would be better off with custom mounts i've searched this and it looks pretty simple for mounts
Would i still be able to reuse my hybrid turbo?
I know megasquirt can have issues with getting a clear signal from the cas

Oh, I wouldn't say that there isn't a lot of information and base maps available for the Megasquirt:

I imagine it would be all the same sensors to begin with as far as megasquirt
I figure making motor mount brackets should be easier than trying to make a T2 center work
