13B rebuild ???

I was wondering how hard is it to rebuild the 13b rotary. I'm looking at buying an FC with in two or three years.

I live in the south and basicly all I have heard is that rebuilding an RX-7 is like a Dark Art and you have to have a voo doo preist assist you while you do it.

I'm pertty confident in my skills as a mechanic. I cannot find any guides on the net and I've herard that the only thing that is difficult is the Apex seals (which requires the assistace of the voo doo preist). what is the proper method when dealing with the seals...

thanks

u could buy rebuild video, haynes manual and buy or download FSM (factory shop manual)

that should get you more than enought informations for start, and probably every thing u will read in books has been covered here on forums and could be found (with some luck) by using SEARCH function

Thanks for the info.
I have read a few 'how to' sights and it dosen't look that hard to do. I got a friend who has two 13's each with a bad rotor and we are talking about taking both of them apart and combining them to make one.

To get you started, aside the good suggestions given prior, you may want to understand the basic dynamics of how the Rotary Engine works. Go to this site and understand It fully. http://www.rotaryengineillustrated.com/ You'll come out of this site a changed man after you've fully comprehended this site.
