13b-re with factory options?

I would like to build a 13b-re FC but I absolutely want to keep the FC factory A/C. (because I like A/C, and the system is all new). Is it possible to fit that easily on the 13b-re engine?

I've been searching a lot to find somebody that did it but couldn't find any information. I would also like to know if I can easily remove the engine while keeping the A/C in the engine bay. I changed an engine once, but too many years ago to remember that.

Thank you.

Different belt setups. I would try to use whatever comes with the RE and hook lines into that pump.

Using stock FC belts and pullys on an RE would be a downgrade.

Use the A/C that is in the car, the pulley is the same for this accessory. We got rid of the power steering but kept the A/C in our 13b-re Vert. Just installed an A/C only bracket from an 87 N/A.

Thank you Banzai racing for your quick reply! I was pretty sure it was bolt-on, but I wanted to be sure before I start removing everything from the engine bay.

I don't have the power steering anymore, it was removed by the previous owner, so my only concern was about the A/C.

I would also like to know what should I do with the FC factory wiring harness... Can I keep it and start from there, or should I buy another one custom made for that application. It is like new (was changed 3 years ago by the previous owner.)

I am currently reading your complete built thread whil I write this, so I may answer my own questions that way...

My engine comes from you by the way! It was in a crate never used.

Depends on the engine management. There is no "custom" harness for running this engine in the FC. We modified the stock harness and installed the Power FC with our adapter kit.

Did you buy it from someone in Canada? Is it Silver and Red?
