Pretty simple question.

Im taking my lower intake off to get it powdercoated a different color. Id like to refrain from draining the coolant if possible.

Looking at the gasket on Mazdatrix's website it doesn't appear so, but its been so long since I assembled the engine I cant remember.

 

Nope.. Not that i know of. Water flows through a uim part for idle control and warm vs cold running

 

nope, RE and REW don't have open rotor housing ports nor does the LIM to block.
