13b Clutch Replacement

Well my buddy has a 91 Non-Turbo RX-7. I do not know too much about this vehicle as I do not own one. I'm posting on my buddies name. I was wondering if anyone knew where to find a detailed diy clutch replacement thread. If anyone could help me with this I would greatly appreciate it.

Both the Haynes and chiltons manuals are very informative.

I had no issues replacing my clutch following their directions. (twice actually...******* xtd was toast after 6k miles)

Both manuals are available through any local parts store, ebay, amazon...etc.

Not a bad job at all. Just have a couple of friends around.

Thank you for the information. I really wish the links worked but it brings me to the site but it says broken link when i click on it. I guess I'm just going to make him purchase a haynes. He needs it anyways. IDK why he doesn't already have one

It's easy as hell... remove everything holding the trans in, remove the trans, remove and replace the clutch, put everything else back in...

The only genuinely hard part of the job is sliding the tranny back on. You have to get it perfectly.

And did you search and check the FAQ? I'm sure there must be at least 1 write-up.
