Just a heads-up. I know this isn't the right place for this but in the next few days I'm going to listing my carb turbo kit for sale.

I've decided to go another direction and I'm selling off my RX7. The kit looks great and I've had everything professionally inspected and freshened up. It uses a stock TII turbo/manifold, tmic and a boost-prepped holley 650dp with custom carb box. I'll even throw in a Mallory 4309 raising rate regulator and possibly my boost gauge with it.

I know the thread is old but maybe there will be some interest out there in it.

I will get some pics here in the next day or two and post an accurate for-sale thread and then link you to it.

It's a real nice set-up but I just change plans too quickly. Those on here that know me know I have automotive ADD.

I remember them being intercooled & they were a decent kit to use. I might have some old rotary magazines with the articles in them still laying around.

AL pics of turbo kit

Here are some pics of the carb-turbo kit I have for sale. I'm not trying to hijack the thread but since someone asked for them I thought I'd post them here.
Feel free to pm me or email me off the forum if you have any questions or are interested. I'm not on this forum much.

Just a few bits of info on the kit for those that are interested. The turbo has recently been freshened up. Very solid, needs nothing. Because it's been sitting in my work shop I'd suggest blowing it out a little before running oil through it to get rid of any dust. The exhaust manifold is a standard S4 manifold with adapter. It still has the divider and solenoid set-up on it. It could easily be removed/ported but I left it all as-is. It's been treated with hi-temp ceramic paint (same as the hot side of the turbo). The TMIC is a factory unit and will actually bolt up in the stock location thanks to a bracket on the carb hat. Just put on a TII hood and it clears perfectly. The carb hat is modified for boost as it's got some neat little sealed ports and actuators. Very well thought out. The carb is a holley 650, looks spotless. I haven't run any fuel through it so I can't attest to anything other than it's condition. The carb hat is easily labeled so you will know which lines go to which ports. The carb is loose in the hat and will need to be bolted back down and have the connections made. I figure that would take all of about 30 minutes. The carb hat has been welded to a modified version of a chopped S4 upper IM. This way it seats perfectly to the modified LIM. This LIM has been ground down so that everything clears. It could probably stand to be cleaned up a bit or painted but I left it as-is to show you guys the detail.

Sorry for the picture quality it was taken in my workshop on my cameraphone. If you'd like to see something else I didn't post just let me know.

Thanks,
Matty
