12v+ on E FAN...answer quick please (easy question)

12v+ on E FAN...answer quick please (easy question)

Can i hook up the BAT (+12v lead) up to the alternator?

it says i can through the directions but im just confirming.

I'd run it directly to the battery.. it's pretty much the best way to ensure a good, clean, constant +12v that I know of.. that's why we never hook up amplifiers directly to an alternator, too much fluxuation.

reason being my battary connectors are completely fucked up and wont allow me to take them off completely withot destroying them (heavy corrosion,but new battary)

Do the job right. Replace the battery terminal clamps. Well worth the $10. You could technically connect the fan to the alternator.

having fucked up ones is bad anyway.
you should be able to get some at any outo parts store for like a buck or two..and if you want you can even get some really nifty ones with chrome or skulls ro some kinda ricey **** like that..lol

hmm, i wonder if a person just had a battery and have a voltage switch like on a water pressure tank, were it'd only kick in after it gets so low so it didnt suck power, then have it on a switch for dragging so it didnt make any drain.
