128 Miles on Full Tank ?

Hey everyone I havea major problem. I am having to fill up 2-3 times a week because of my poor gas mileage. I changed the 02 senser, gas filter with new ones and i am still getting crappy gas mileage. Any other suggestions ?

Do a complete tuneup (Plugs, plug wires, check tps, use the idle adjsut screw to lean it out as much as possible at idle, etc) then a compression test. Other that not much you really can do. Oh yeah, might want to check the filter "sock" on the fuel pump.

Filter sock on fuel pump will not make the car run rich. It will cause hesitation on sharp left turns or if completly plugged will stall the engine.

Have the injectors cleaned. Maybe they are leaking or spraying to much fuel.

How about you pull codes!? 128 is about half of what you should be getting.

Checked for a plugged return line and faulty fuel pressure regulator, restrictions with air filter or in intake.

ummm NO, basics start with plugs etc and the air filter restriction you did post. Fuel blockage is not a basic first step in a poorly running car. Hell, I have seen like one blocked return line in 30 years - casued by a kink in a hose form another repair

I got 240 mpt doin' freeway miles. Wierd part is that with the guage reading a little less than 1/4 tank - I filled up @ 11 gallons. I thought it was a 18 gal. tank. I don't trust fuel guages anyway but that's way off...
