OK...well they are always white outside and black inside. They have painted wheels, moldings and taillights. They have a little badge where it should read "TURBO II." Anything else?

There was nothing different about the stereo between the 10AE and a GXL (I actually swapped the head unit out of my 88 GXL into the 10AE because of the mods I did for the CD player.
The was a 10th AE logo on in the center of the steering wheel, logo on the floor mats, Momo shifter **** and boot (horrible .. way too tall), and the special key with the logo on it.
Thats all I remember .. its been a few years

well then you'd have the first and only 10th anniversary edition n/a.
Mine is a mystery as well. It had an ABS pump in it which was disconnected when I bought it. The shift boot leather was hacked off by the previous owner so he could put on a momo shiftknob which doesn't fit right because the threaded shifter... and fender badges are gone when it was repainted. but it does have bronze tint, the leather, the steering wheel, the wheels, etc... so who knows. By the VIN it IS an 88 turbo. That's good enough for me.

yes people i know it has to be a turbo,,, but nothing says that you
couldn't swap all the parts including motor trani etc along with all
the parts to make a gx look like a AE...
the info i was looking for was what RETed posted
i knew that there had to be a vin number range
that the AE's were between
thanks RETed for finding what i was looking for.
so from the above numbers there were 2754 made and
sent to north america? or were there another set to canada?
