and how much did the power steering set you back... weight wise.

Sorry about that typo...I meant 2600lbs. As for the power steering system...I pulled the pump, all hoses, the "cooler" (if you want to call it that), and I have since shortened to AC/PS bracket to accept AC only. I would ESTIMATE 15-20lbs, maybe. I dont have any official weights, but all kinds of little stuff does add up.

I think you are all wrong. I put the 10th AE logos on my car and it made it about 2 seconds quicker from key insert to ignition. Add a VTEC sticker and we are talking some serious power.

So even after reading all the posts before yours, you still though you needed to post that?

Production 10thAE models only came with the white exterior and black leather interior, however there was a couple of silver ones that had a non turbo 20B in them, built for testing, but never sold with a Moroney (Window sticker price tag).

These silver test beds were for a press testing and looked simular except even the 88 Turbo/88GTU aero parts that were on it, were painted silver.

The Crystal White was available on other models as well.

I doubt you'll get it into the 26**lb range unless you remove more stuff that you don't need. My TII weighed 2605 with 1/3rd of a tank of gas, and this was with no spare or jack, no sound deadening behind the seats, no emissions, 3" single turboback, no a/c, no p/s, etc.. I'm hoping to get mine into the 25**lb range this winter with the addition of lighter non-reclining seats, CF sunroof, CS fenders, Braille battery, thinner carpet, and more sound deadening removal. I was thinking about getting the CS lexan hatch, but it dosen't seem worthwhile.

When I'm done, I plan on sitting right in the mid 25**lb range. And unless you pop the hood, you wouldn't be able to tell. So far, the car is looking very stock and is already down to 2658 with less than a quarter tank. Full carpeted interior, full seats, full dash, everything "looks" as normal as any other 10th AE, sans the engine bay.

Edit: How much did the sound deadening weigh?

We already solved this problem. bigdv519 said on page 2 that it was a typo and he meant 2600lbs.

"5000 grand" you got a sale my friend, you can use part of that payment to fly out here and pick up the car in person, or I can ship it.

Hell, why don't you just drive the car out to him, then deliver it all in person......

The truth about 10th anns

Wow, I think I need a breather after all of the crap that I am reading. Hey, the car is something you can touch and see it is not like the many fables were you can just start making **** up and expect people to belive it because you might actually run into a person that owns one and then you are going to look like an ***. Much respect for the guys that tried to set the story straight on this page. 10th anns just come with cosmetic features and they are in limited number that's why they are special. The bronze tint, headlight lense cleaners, and the bagdes along with the paint and a few little extras are the only things that are different. The only thing that makes this car slower is the leather seats and the head light cleaners. No special turbos or mysterious power upgrades that no one Knows about. This car is a collectors item and gos for alot more than any sane person would like to pay for an fc. My car is 2900 pounds stock with only one owner other than myself. I like these things because they look like no other fc and they look really clean. I didn't plan on getting one because they are nice but there not worth the extra cash they really aren't but I got a deal that I couldn't refuse even cheap for a regular TII. So next time someone tells you some crap about them find an actual owner and look at one really closely if you get the chance and find out for yourself.
