10 point roll cage

I just bought the jegs 10 point roll cage, and am wondering where are the best points to weld the rear beams to. I know the more closer to the shock tower the better However, i want it on the frame to prevent the structure from twisting.

roll cage mounting points

my pops and his buddy threw a 6point roll bar in my car over the last winter. First, be sure to use reinforvement plates on top and the bottom (of the car) where you choose to placce tubes. We placed the two rear down tubes between the towers and just behind the tub area (or where bins where). The sides, the roll bar really, was placed on the floor behind the driver and against the frame reinforcement that runs width of car behind the driver. The triangular braces mount on that frame rein. right in the middle. then the sides run down to the front foot wells, tucked as far out and up as possible. I wish I had pictures, or my car here (still stuck in VT white MTS) it would help a lot. Be sure to use rein. plates and good luck

It goes through the firewall and mounts to the rear of the front shock towers. Problem with the JEGSTER kit is it will not pass tech for any competitions except NHRA or IHRA events because its not DOM steel. (Drawn over mandrell) which SCCA Nopi Drift D1GP and just about every other sanctioning body out there requires.

I know because I was thinking about getting that kit. I called Jegs and they said its not DOM and would not meet SCCA reqs.
