Help im trying to time my 87. It wouldnt keep a good idle it starts up fine but then drops down to idle then dies. I un hooked the vacumn line to the fuel regulator. it has better throttle respose but still dies. Im thinking it needs to be timed. But my pullie doesnt have the timing marks any more. is there any other way to find TDC. thanks chris

Look closer for the notches. Over time the paint wears off and they are very difficult to see. For other methods of finding TDC, do a search of this forum. There is a lengthy thread where much conflicting information is presented on just how best to do that. However, you may come away totally confused after reading the thread.
