My terminal are becoming all coroded and nasty. It's gotten to the point that the car wouldnt start, so i though it was the alternator/batt/charging system, checked the battery, got full charge (12.4 volts). I fiddled with the terminals then the headlights just popped up bright as ever.

So my question is what's the best way/stuff to clean this off with?

I'm not trying to be stupid, just wondering if their is anything better than a rag etc.. to clean it with.. anything special?

 

terminal cleaners, baking soda and cocacola

wash it off in some warm water with baking soda and use a brass brush. Then to prevent it from happening again coat them with petroleum jelly.
