**Partially** stuck 5th and 6th ports? Or back pressure low?
**Partially** stuck 5th and 6th ports? Or back pressure low?
Hey all!
To start, this is a topic I hadn't really seen displayed in detail across the forums, so if it's obvious, sorry for the post.
I was dinking around with my rex today and decided to try the grease trick on the actuators. I drove it for about 5 mins, warmed up, doing pulls strong through first. Maybe 6-7 of them.
Then I drove back to my house and check the grease; it had slid just over 1/3 of the way up the shaft.
Is that full extension?
If not:
Could the actuators be *slightly* sticky?
and/or
Could the back pressure be down (though I have the stock exhaust)? perhaps clogged lines?
Thanks!!
Zack

You should be able to depress the shaft all the way down with your thumb, but usually if it moves it's not stuck.
Back pressure could be off due to partially clogged cats? But I'd recommend converting to an airpump activation, it's vaaaastly more reliable. ^_^
