Coolant flow to the throttle body to operate the thermowax.

If you can get along without the cold start fast idle cam, you can cap that nipple and the one at other end of the circuit on the back of the water pump housing.
Then remove the fast idle cam, thermowax, & secondary throttle (AKA the TB mod)

From the rear plate it goes to the underside of the TB. The coolant travels through passages in the TB to the thermowax and then to an outlet nipple on the top of the TB. A hose connects that nipple to a nipple on the BAC valve (on the side of the intake manifold). Another hose goes from the other side of the BAC valve to a nipple on the back of the water pump.

Make sure he knows that if the thermowax is removed or those hoses aren't in place the engine will not idle until it warms up. If that's OK, just do what SureShot said.

A smarty would not buy that hose but buy one of the long twisty ones shown on that page. Using one of those you can get enough lenth out of it to easily remove the throttle body without any discomfort. Discomfort caused by too short of a distance b/t the thottle body and the block, which restricts the room needed to unclamp the hose and twist it off without damaging youself or the hose.
