**help!**Gauge cluster hood plastic broken!
Hey guys, naturally as the car is 28 years old, the plastics are brittle. I noticed the tan plastic that the gauge cluster hood mounts onto and screws into is pretty badly damaged from the previous owner having took it off in the past. I am attempting to re attach the gauge cluster hood back onto the car, but since that tan plastic is broken fairly badly, there's no holes to screw the cluster hood onto anything. Does anyone have any suggestions for how to get this cluster hood to stay secured to the dashboard?

Zip ties depending on where it's broken. Luckily my top three screws are intact. Where the bottom two go are broken. I used zip ties to secure the base of the cluster surround.

Literally every piece of the tan plastic where there is a screw hole where the cluster shroud would go is gone. I need to figure out how to get that shroud to stay on snug...anyone had any success with adhesives? JB weld? anything?

acrylic cement works really well. in extreme cases you might get a piece of scrap acrylic and make tabs for the meter hood to attach
