** why are there so many ECU's for sale **

Are all computers junk or what?
Why is there so many for sale?
My car "while it ran" runs VERY rich and I don't know what the cause is. Could it be the ECU getting the wrong signal? I don't have anything to monitor O2 yet but will soon.

just another question out here for the people who are bored.

rotaries running rich is a safety precaution. running rich usually only means shitty gas mileage, running lean means you get to buy a new motor.

good to hear that rich is a good thing. So the motor wont run at all if you have a bad ECU?

motor ran rich till I changed the turbo

well I forgot to plug the wastegate actuator in the S5 turbo "has a TEE in it" and ran so lean that I burnt up the hot side seal....

lesson...

lean is bad, I should have realized that it was the fuel cutout that was messing with me

oh and it cost me a new turbo and I am hopeing and praying that the motor didnt get hurt.
