seems kinda high, there is an s5 over here supposedly with 37K original miles going for 5300 obo,
the thing is so beautiful and well kept, i have a good reason to think it is a true 37k car. only drawback is its auto, but its badass, made made me think about selling mine to get it and mines turbo so if i were you i would keep looking.

That's high for around here, but I can't say for CA.
It all depends on it's current condition: Is it fixed up nice or beat to death.

Hmmm: half worn 225's in the front & bald 205's in back.
Someone's been drifting the **** out of it.

I bought mine for $4,250 and it only had 56k original miles on it. I'd think that's kind of steep if you ask me... I'd offer about $3k too.

That guy seems to think all of the aftermarket parts (not even installed) make it worth so much more. News flash to him but aftermarket parts are something you do to a car because you want to, not because you expect to make your money back on it later because that never happens.

i got my s5 in CA about 2 yrs ago almost mint with 80k miles for 4k. that 5500 price is just retarded, if he wants to make his money back for mods he should part the aftermarket stuff out seperately.

from the ebay auction:
"This car has not been abused! It's never been wrecked, not even a BUMP. I never revved the car past 7500 RPMs (and the car has a 8000 redline), never ran it low on oil, never did clutch dumps/kicks, or shocked the drivetrain."

and then in that forum post they are calling him the awesome drifter...someone is lying out through his *** one way or the other.

Probably both. The car looks like a piece of **** for that much money. The black hood kills it for me.

piece, too much. n4ji got a TII 10AE for like $10 with only like 12K.

the car probably got torn up and is running like **** so he is gonna sell it and trying to get all that he can out of some young misinformed ebayer. He may get close to that much, but with the way he say's he treated that car, I feel sorry for whoever buys it.

Just wanted to clear up some stuff about what the creator of this thread has said.

The actual asking price is 4500 dollars, That what it is locally- thats what it is on the forums, thats the reserve price set on ebay. Of course the buy it now is set higher then the actual asking price.

To clear a few things up- the cars condition is fine. Theres no body damage, the paint is very clean- and the inerior is just as clean.

I dont know about where you are- but in THIS area, for THIS condition, this type of car would sell for aroun 2500-3000. Put the parts into the equation- hes asking about 1500-2000 for the parts (Depending on how you look at the worth of the car)

Add up all of the work done to the car, add up all of the parts hes throwing in- and see how close to 2000 dollars you get. Its obvious hes not trying to make any money- and its obvious hes not trying to get any money back for the vehicle.

The car has been to a few local events- a couple drifting and one autox if i recall. This car has NEVER been pushed to its limits, and nothing has been abused. Proper maitenence has always been done when needed, not ignored and left to get worse.

im about to buy my first car, and im trying to stay away from those that have been modded already, that just means he raced with it.

im buying my car from a rotary mechanic. its a red 90' gtu with 153k on it for $2500.

he also has a really nice gtu-s for $5100 with like 110k miles. so i think that car is priced a bit too high.

So drifting a car isn't pushing it's limits at all? Maybe it's me but i was told that no matter how much of a good drifter you are it is hard on your car to do it, Period. Also Nothing has been abused? Do you honestly say that with good consience thinking that these cars were meant soley for the purpose of drifting?--i'm not trying to rip on you, just make you look at what yoru'e saying.

it almost seems like your the owner of the car trying to convince him to buy it. maybe not but thats what it seems like to me.
