That switch that I thought was the fog lights was a fuel cutoff switch i think, for when it fluds. Right now I wish I didn't have all that extra stuff, cause it's all in the hatch and now i have to figure out where all the shyt goes, soo many wires!

First of I would like to say great buy man, you will truly enjoy it. I have a fuel cut switch like that too, mine is mounted underneith the steering collum that could be what it is. But usually the fog light switch is right there on the center panel by your shifter and stuff...at least that is where mine is. Just thought that might help you out a bit.

Again great car!

I'm pretty sure it was a fuel cut switch. Before you got it to start, did you flip that switch? If you did, and then it started it was most likely a fcs. The engine was getting no fuel until the switch was flipped. I accidently always hit mine getting in and out of the car, and it does the same thing, and i realize that i hit the switch. So yeah, i'm sure it was just that.

You got ripped off

I think you got ripped off for that car. $450 is way too much. If you agree, i'll take it off your hands for $500 just so you can recoup your losses and have an extra $50 for pain and suffering.

Looks good. Doesn't look like any structural damage, except MAYBE the front bumper/supports could be bent. Just get new parts and bolt her back together. Looks like you got a sweet deal. It would have been worth more than you paid even if the motor was completely blown.

Sure Kurgan, but the only way I'd do it is if I could send it via air mail collect

Bumper supports, rad supports and some frame damage is all that I know so far . I"ll take some high res pics later today and post em. I'll also take some pics of where it's smoking above the O2 sensor. Plus I'm going to hook up all the extra electronics tonight(guy took out some things like the turbo timer etc before he parked it).
