Get a street port, or any other port you want.

That's about my budget on my RX-7. But some of it is going towards a rebuild... here's the small list I've compiled

Exhaust = RB Header ~> Custom 2.5" piping ~> Borla XR-1 Muffler ( to act as a presilencer ) ~> 2.5" Piping ~> Corksport Exhaust.

I'm getting a rebuild, and a full streetport, Pineapple Racing Sleeves, and a Custom CAI. Removing all emissions, electric fan, removing airpump, TB Mod. I'll probably have my manifolds matched and ported. Electronic 6th port actuation ( www.fc3s.org ) because I want functioning 6th ports, but no airpump. Then, when that's all said and done, ( I'll do other things too, but I can't list everything ) I'm hopping on a dyno, and sending the results, along with my spare fuel comp. to SAS racing, to get their Auto-cross Chip put in... then it's off to suspension mods, and cosmetics...

That, is my 6 month plan.

I had a dream last night about finding a TII in a junkyard for $200.... nice dream. Maybe it was all that talk of the 88 AE that's less than an hour from me and for sale... who knows?

Even still, I could probably get a TII cheaper than the mods I listed. But even with the mods, it's quick(er) and more importantly RELIABLE. My RX-7 will be my only car, so a TII (AKA. Shop Baby) is out of the question.

And I was just curious If anyone had header/pre-silencer and some good aftermarket mufflers, ie:HKS, RB, Apexi N1? I need something that add's substantial power with a deep(and not too loud)sound. Im sick of driving a chainsaw with wheels!
maybe you could buy stocks sony or something so you can get more money!! hehe.

Sell your GTU and use the 3K to buy a nice TII.
