Is $160 To Much To Get Tii Second Injectures
I took my car to the guy who rebuilt my engine to get a check up. he told me the next thing i need besides a new clutch, is to get TII secondaire injectors put in. dose this really help and is $160 to much if i could just buy them i could save money and put them in my self.
i have an 86 n/a streetported with apexi dual n1 exhaust with bonez race pipe and intake. also how do i find out what model of rx-7 i have.

ok b/c he said i did. he said that after a certain rpm or mph i dont remember wich the engine needs more fuel and that the stock 2nd injectures wont provied the fuel so he said for $160 he can put in TII secondaire injectores for me.

Either he's a crook trying to steal your money, or he's an incompetent that knows nothing about EFI or these cars.
Either way, take your money and run away...

Whoever is telling you that is just plain stupid.
The turbo fuel injectors will just make the engine run richer.
A richer mixture means suppression of power, and it'll run SLOWER.
Like everyone else said, the stock NA already runs rich - with an S-AFC, you need to jack the stock fuel injectors down 10%+ to gain some nice power on an NA.
