nice car, turboII brakes are pretty good, not really something you should waste money on unless you track the car.

She replaced the old 13bt with this vw golf I from 1978 and to make it worst she replaced the carburetor with a smaller one to lower the gas consumption.

I know you are right ,I'm thinking the same but once a year in our country is the largest car show on 1st April and want to be ready for it.i will put my accent to body and after that on engine and interior. for 1st may 2008 at the second tuning show around here.i can't do a little bit of everything and get a bad reputation..first the body with this steps:
body
wheels (see pics) will order in 2 weeks ; tire also
brakes (see pics) already on way to me with brake rotors ,pads and brake lines
suspension(here i don't make my mind what to do) air suspension or tein ss.
exhaust ---will make a very special exhaust system with cut out .
PROTHANE TOTAL KIT BUSHINGS SWAY BAR ---already on way

thats it for now.

Seriously, that big brake kit is a waste of money. get nicer discs, rebuild kit for stock calipers, and new pads. DONE!

Amazing how much difference in taste there is between America and Romania.
