will 16x8 or 17x8 fit my fc

I would like everyones input on a 16x8 or 17x8 wheel with a low offset fit my fc with out me having to pull or roll the fenders. I'll post a pic of it up and tell me what you all think.

they both fit... depending on the offset you choose.... there are lot's of wheel threads on here.... many offsets and tire combinations to choose from, to get the effect you are after

there are people running larger, wider, and lower setup's without rolling finders..... it's all about the offset...

go through here if you haven't already https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-non-technical-pictures-198/pictures-fc-wheel-fitment-specs-%2A%2A%2Apicts-n-specs-only%2A%2A%2A-698611/

Yea ive looked thru there alot of good setups, I'm just worried about the front becuz its so low the rear shouldnt be an issue. I just dont wanna run two different size wheels if possible. Cuz in the pic its sitting on 14's with a 70's series tire. And i would love to tuck 17x8 with a +20 offset under the front.

So a +20 or +15will be fine. I'm really just worried about the front not so much the back. And what would u suggest for tires cuz i was thinking 205/45 or 195/45.

stretch is your friend??? low, wide and heavy offset. its the main reason why stretched tyres made a come back to fit these without major guard work. well thats my opinion anyway. so 195 or 205 might be the answer

Stretch is so you can be hella cool running wide *** rims and still break tire easily for drift with a reasonably smaller contact patch.

Wheel diameter isn't an issue as long as you match it with the correctly sized tire. Heres a good calculator to see the difference between tire size heights:
http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

17x8 +20s will fit easy in the rear. The front should fit even under full lock with the appropriately sized tire.

Fifteen52

I am looking to put on 17x8 Tarmacs and they only come with a offset of 45. from what ive read so far some people are saying the cars are built for a offset of 50? but yet the stock offset is 36. Would the 17x8 with the 45 offset work on a FD Rx-7?
