why doesn't anyone remove the vert targa?

Whoa, super old necro thread revive. So did you look at the top section? If it's attached at two ends, take a guess how you detach it. Levers on one side, levers on the other.

Don't worry, I used to think I had to remove the targa section to put the cover on ... I did that for about 7 years.

I went to a meet and realized my cover looked saggy compared to others. I was informed I was doing it wrong the whole time.

I'd take mine off at meets or slow cruises through down town, but it's usually raining so I don't get to do much either way..

SO, my son and I are vert noobs. Can you fit the targa section in the trunk? DO you stow it in cabin behind the seats and use the wind blocker? I guess I could read the manual.

Old thread but...

I use Targa mode quite a bit; mostly around town. It makes the car quite toasty when it is about 30 degrees out.
