Where would you start to strip a vert?

I need to strip my vert of everything useful but have it remain water proof.

There is just so much I don't know where to start.

I want to keep every thing as spares in storage in case I need something like to bare frame.

Any ideas and tips?

I can't have it look like a beater on blocks until the last minute or else I'll get a damn ticket for having a project car

Strip everything but dash and center console/arm rest so you can keep the controls for the top switch. You can remove the center console/arm rest and run the top switch to a toggle switch and mount it somewhere else. Remove the power steering and air conditioning units too.
