Wheel Fitment question?

Hey guys sorry to ask this but normally I would walk out and start taking measurements on the wheels myself, but im deployed right now...

my question is will 18x10 et47 18x12 et28 fit on a fc tire size is unknown at the moment. What type of modification would I need to make to get these to fit. Would 30mm fronts and 50mm rears cover these?

Thanks for the help.

Buy different wheels. That offset is horrible.

But if you want to make it fit you're going to need huge spacers all around (probably more than 50mm in the front and at least 40mm in the rear). To not be poking out everywhere you'll want to get front and rear fenders as well.

Check here (http://www.rimtuck.com/search/thumbn...el=RX-7&sort=1) and search for the FC fitment thread for more specifics.

+1

The wider the wheel, the lower you want the offset to be. Modern cars use much higher offsets so it's harder for us to find aftermarket wheels.

Another thing you want to consider is are you going for looks or more tire?
A lot of guys here will run a 9 or 10 inch wide wheel stretching a 215-235 tire which is completely stupid.

Let's put it this way. My 17x8 +35 almost hit my coilovers in the front. So a 10" wheel with a +47 offset won't even make it on to the studs.

im with k!nch, that offset is just atrocious. for an 18x10 you would want ~+10 to clear coilovers, and have super wide fenders, the rear, you would want ~0 if not negative offset to clear the subframe and inner fender well, then super wide fenders

+85 front, +80 rear

You're going to need some giant spacers and some unbreakable studs.

Here's another pick of the Ronin fenders with 18x10.5+0 and 18x11.5+5, again offsets are key. Ronin literally bought all of the original molds and rights to the Tripoint body, I've also seen this kit with 315/35r17 all around and people with 12in wide wheels all around also. You can fit an 18x10 with low offsets under the Corksport fenders with a 285/30r18, but on the back you'll probably need at least an 50mm. If you are stretching tires you might be able to get away with a 30mm in the rear with some "poke"
