What Steps do I need to take..

I am new to the whole car thing and what better car to start working on than an Rx7 lol. So if this seems like a stupid question please laugh a bit but do answer it lol.

I was told that on a na when you try to do a burn out that only one tire spins.. What steps do I need to take, what do I need to change to have both tires spin. Also, what is the advantage of having both spin?

Does the cost of "changing it" out way the benefit? or do the benefits out way the cost?

Thanks guys

Oh... no.... I'm pretty sure everyone is going to laugh or assume you are a troll....
Please sell it before you do a burn out and rev it 15,000rpm; and then blow it up.
Anyway, seeing as you seem like a crafty individual just weld the rear end.

A welded diff can be a pain if you don't wana drift everywhere... best bet would be to get a na LSD and swap it into your car.

To swap in from a tii you'd need the LSD the.housing the half shafts and a custom driveshaft if you want to keep the na tranny

I got this from the FAQ's..so basically what I should look for is a 86-88 and 88 GTU for the LSD.. I have a 91 NA but I bet it is not one of those "few rare" ones lol

Did my 2nd Gen RX-7 come with a Limited Slip Differential?
Only the following USA model 2nd gen RX-7s had a LSD from the factory:
86-88 GXL
87-91 T2
88 GTU
89-90 GTUs (however not the 89-90 GTU)
It is also rumored that a few rare 91 coupes with both the A (upgraded the interior trim, added a power sunroof, tilt steering wheel, cruise control, and 4 piston front disc brakes and vented single piston rear brakes) and the B package (leather seating, a CD player, and rear cargo cover) came with a LSD, but you should note that Mazda denies that any FC other than the T2 came with a LSD in 91). You can also tell by looking at the differential as there will be a LSD tag on S4 cars with a LSD.

Actually a welded diff will get you what you wanted, so he did give you the right answer. Sarcasm comes with being on this forum…. So please take it with a grain of salt. If you still have questions about learning what the lSD does go pick up last month’s Super street mag (December issue) it also has a clean S4 FC in it.

Welded diffs suck at low speeds and tight turns. Everyone will asking why your car is skipping, or telling you something is broken.
