Doesn't really float my boat...looks like a late 1980's 300ZX with the headlights like that. I think the 2 colors are throwing off my taste, I'd probably go uniform with color and make it all red.

Can't go wrong with either color; they're both pretty classic. But I always have trouble understanding why anybody would seek the opinion of others in an area that's governed purely by personal taste. Neither color is "better," so pick your favorite.
One practical consideration is that if you're not going to do the jambs and pull the engine to paint the bay, keeping the exterior red will allow the body to match those parts of the car and the finished product will look more professional.

I know its up to me but i just like the opinion of others, i already have a red rx7 its not running because i am building the motor
The only reason is red and black is because i just put on the body kit ad i need to paint it i am not going to keep it like that

I just put in some Tein springs my front looks good but the back is real high. I cannot go any lower in the front i cannot even get out of the driveway right now lol
the first pic is from last week without the springs the second picture is with the Tein springs.
I would love to lower just the rear some more

i agree with lani and magus, coil overs first. Springs will not be low enough for that bn kit imo. It will always look like a hover craft. And i think those wheels suit a less-aggressive body /stock body a little better.
If you drive the car alot, my suggestion is to go for red, since black is a lil more harder to maintain and road debris taking it a toll on the front. And we dont see too many red BN kitted cars. Paint the hatch black, and you can paint the window trim black too. will clean it up.

i got it for $200 from a guy on craigslist in San Antonio, and yes it fitted real good for a one man job lol.
and now that the springs settled the fron has no wheel gap but the back is still higher than a truck i might need to though some heavy briks back there lol
but i guess most people like red so thats what i am thinking to go with
