from the previous owner: "oh, that? that was a blow out at 120mph". Looks like they pulled it back down & bondo'd it, but it rusted & the bondo fell out ha. Have since snipped out a piece from a car in the yard, it will be welded in. Can't beat it for $600 running & driving, with a spare engine & trans, tho!
