Traded my 79 s for this 89 GXL on saterday and finally have some pictures I took with my girlfriend's camera (man law compliant). Put on the Cork Sport strut bar yesterday. The AAS actually works, the vents are all intact (put my old vents in the center console to preserve the non cracked ones for my 90), and the triangular mirror bolt covers aren't cracked. I think I got a good deal.

 

The car looks clean, how much did you pay?

That looks exactly like the 1989 GTU I owned only, the interior is in tons better shape.

 

Hell Yeah. Seen them a few times and they always put on a kick *** show

awesome. I was pretty surprised how good of shape its in. The passenger seat is near mint, and the drivers seat only has a few tears along the seems.
