Vert Top Leaks

I just bought an 88 vert, paid 500 for it. The top leaks wear the window meets the top close to wear the top folds when open.

Is there anything I can do to fix this.

new weather seals or adjust your windows to go up higher. ask any vert owners about leaks and most of them have leaks. even new ones had leaks apparently. is the leak bad? or does it just drip slowly?

my driver window would pretty much stop leaking if I went through the passenger side and rolled up the window after the door was closed.

If I closed the drivers door with the window up it would end up slightly on the other side of the molding, but if I left it down and rolled it up after it sealed much better. I really only did this when I knew I would not be driving the car for a while.

There is a bump stop inside the door, toward the hinge side. You can loosen the blt and move it up and down. Try moving it up by about a millimeter or two and see if that helps. Keep in mind that if you go up too high, your window will no longer seal on the back edge where it connects to the soft top portion.
