Updated my FC a little. [Picture Intensive]

Haven't posted an update in a while, but the cars been through a good amount of money.

Lets see here....

We used to have

but then I picked up some Brand New APEXi N1 Duals.

And that was good for a while, but then I wanted to go a little lower, so I picked these up.

And Lo and Behold...

But I wasn't scraping enough speedbumps and driveways so I purchased some Aero and got to work.

Around the same time I ran out of tire, so I downloaded some more.

So then the aero finally got finished after a month of being lazy.

But just when I thought I was done, I forgot my right turn signal was still in my old bumper, and I couldnt find the mounting nuts for my new FTP's. So I corrected those problems and produced a product...

Driveway Appreciation.

So that was my cars journey. I think I've spent about $2k throughout these pics. meh.

Turbo Swap in the winter? Headers for now? No idea....

Turbo swap dat thang! Car looks great though. I want those same coilovers for my car. What spring rates are they? How's the ride quality?

You've done a nice job, well done! Also interested in your opinions of the coilovers. The body is aluminum IIRC? I've heard that they're really stiff, any truth to that?

Wow that thing looks 100% better. I might make one small suggestion, i would paint your headlight covers now so they match the hood and front bumper. They have a noticeable amount of fade it would make the front look much better IMHO.

Front lip - Corksport Odura?

PBM Coilovers are fantastic. Spring rates 10k/8k. Ride is stiff, but its not as stiff as you think, I used to run some old school JIC coils, spring rates unknown, and the pbms ride better. If they're too stiff, you can get a 6k spring from them and run 8k 6k, which is what I was planning to do, but I'm not sure if its worth it anymore. Its really not that bad.

I'm fairly certain they're aluminum body but I would have to go back and double check. Construction feels rock solid, and I would really recommend them to anyone for a low priced/high quality coilover.

I swapped bumpers because this new bumper has a cutout to compliment the Odura Style lip. Also my old bumper had visible holes in the front where the license plate used to be.

Oh and a turbo swap is definitely in the works. I have some RB headers in my backyard right now I'm planning to throw on until then.

Its not that its faded, but Harbor Metallic Blue is a ridiculously hard color to color match, so its just the differences in paints, the pictures kind of hide the paint mismatching but its there. I plan to repaint the whole car down the road so I don't mind about the difference too much atm. And yep corksport odura.

Thanks for all the comments guys!

awesome!

Nice to see guys who don't mind cosmetics and suspension before gofast parts. Night and day difference and I know it boost up your feelings about the car.

Im planing to get those for my next coilovers, let us know how you like them.

i noticed the bull's eyes on the hood from the adhesive holding the inner skin on the outer skin, were they very noticeable after the hood was painted?

Haha I gave my spiel on them about 3 posts up, but they're real great coilovers.

If you're talking about the bare metal patches, they do not show at all after the paint.

Thanks for the comments all. I'm real happy with the outcome.

the bare metal patches is the bonding adhesive, on black hoods that **** shows up, very annoying, looks like hail

trick is to release the adhesive
