So, the general opinion here is that the car isn't cool because it is too low and the body parts don't line up perfectly, right?

some baller parts $$$ on the RD cars, its just that the styling might not flatter some of you guys, japanese tuning doesnt really float too well around here.. it all comes down to asian tuning influence, things are done differently that happen to work. if you respect it, then it wont bother you. Just like some guys like ripping out ps and a/c in a NA street car and spend every week polishing their xxr wheels or 300+hp cars with no suspension/sleepers.

thanks for sharing all the pics, better to contribute then to stay silent in the shadows.

Motors like a stock port S5 13BT OEM Mazda internals. It has a Trust 20G turbo, Type-C wastegate, manifold. Racing beat downpipe, GP Sports Spec II Pro exhaust. Greddy inlet pipe, Greddy FMIC. Koyo Radiator w/ Samco hosing, Nippon Denso pump, Denso 720/1000cc injectors, MSD 6A, FD3S Ignitor , Wolf 3D V4+ EMS, all Pivot gauges. ACT Clutch, Panspeed flywheel, MazdaSpeed comp trans mount, Banzai Racing motor mounts, Banzai Racing oil pan brace, OMP 350mm Corscia, Bride Zeta II w/ Nagisa Auto rails. Stance Aluminum AL+ Pro ( Used to be on Zeal B6 Functions) , FEED DTTS eliminators, Delrin Diff. Mounts, Alum. subframe spacers. Sexy Style aero, D-Max hood, RE-Amemiya mirrors, Foresight wing , Advan Model Vs, and a bunch of small **** i'm forgetting. Power. HM, it makes a bunch and its really responsive at 7 psi. New tune should be well over 300.

This car is knock off central. Quality isn't a issue.

the car is cool, in its own way.
Its just far from the BEST IN THE USA.

no need for people to get all worked up and upset and start talking ghetto about it.

I get the zip ties when drifting, but on the street what do you do if it falls off? Pull over on the highway and hope the old lady in her buick did not end up with it in the grill of her car?

why be so low if you cant even drive the car safely? At what point are looks more import then actually being able to DRIVE the car? That seems to be the issue most have.

I think the people with the low cars CAN drive them and the people that bitch about it are the ones that haven't tried it.

There is a lot of FEAR about the unknown. When people haven't driven the super low car, they FEAR it and write it off as impossible. (I think).

I think this car needs a cage if it doesn't have one.

Safety21 7 point would be the sickest.

When sometimes breaks or falls off, I would assume you pull over and re attach it?

Its not that often. Its not a big deal

S T Y L E I S E V E R T Y T H I N G

Build it good enough to survive a few events, street driving, daily driving.

Make it look cool, break it and smash it. Rebuild it

Keep the fun alive instead these lame *** dudes who build, never drive their **** and sell their FCs for $15,000.

Brian: I had a Cusco 4 Pt. But I sold it, Now i'm looking for a 6 pt. Cusco/Safety 21 again. Nothing else.

i dont know how your streets are in Long Beach, but in NY, and im pretty sure Chicago aint that much better, the roads can be pretty rough, especially after the winter when the freeze/thaw cycles tear the *** out of everything.

I dig the RD cars, they are cool in thier own different way, just not the BEST.
Thats a bold statement to proclaim something the BEST and when you do prepare for the fallout.

These are good cages.

I suggest the 7 point because it has the cool diagonal bar in the back. It looks good through the back window.

That looks spotless.

Do you drive it?

400horsepower!!!! Do you drag race or circuit race or something?

If you had a vented hood, more heat would come out and it would run cooler.

I drive it every weekend when the weather is nice, also taken it to a few weekday meets.

I dont usually get out of work until about 6:30-7:00, at that point im too tired to drive around in circles. I did the daily driving thing, now its a weekend/pleasure car.

It has 155k miles on the chassis.

Is it tough to drive as a weekend style car / car meet car?

Seems like 400 horsepower is going to need a nice clutch and stuff. Sounds super expensive too! I would love to drive something that fast.

Seems like kind of a waste though. 400 horsepower doesn't do too much good in the parking lot and in the 40mph zone does it?

I dunno though.... 400hp seems like a rocketship to me. I only have driven something with like 130HP.

lets put it this way... i purchased all my aero off of RHDjapan.com, i know how expensive REAL aero is. if you guys knew better you would realize that zipties are the only way to go when you daily, or comp drive a car that low with REAL aero. now if you got the ebay knock-off ****, etc. well then **** it, when it breaks you pick up the pieces and fiberglass that ****.

i got the same exact foresight wing, and it cost 480 bucks. just so that it can bring you into perspective on what this guy has spent in aero. foresight roof spoiler.... 290 bucks. he probably has more $ spent in aero alone than most fools on this site on their entire car, including price of car. the pieces and parts that put that car together are epic... thats what brian is stating. most of you dont understand nor realize that, but its ok.

brian himself is another story... some of you arent familiar with that screen name so you really have no clue who you are talking to. research S chassis car builders in america or grassroots american drifting and i am sure you will see "brian harte" "BH" or "pink godzirra" pop up.

i dont mean to rant, but i just hate people that have no idea what they are hating on. fukkaz just hate for the sake of hate. if you knew why the hood didnt sit flush you would just say "ohh... ok, i see", instead of hate.

BUT, best in the us..... close but not the holder of the claim yet, lol.

mine is!!!!

it drives like it came from the factory, every single part of the car was rebuilt, it also has a complete custom made clutch that was made to my specs.

It spools very easy, but you still need a bit of road to really get on it, thats when I take it by the beach or some nice stretch of roads that allow it, otherwise you have to be a good citizen you know what im saying?

sytfu- which brian are you talking about ? PGBrian or is risky devil brian also?
Your telling me that RD name is brian and he has a stalker named brian ?

Not hating, just saying.

You can't be serious. You should go for a ride along in a 350+ whp rx7 before you shove your foot so far down your throat it's coming out your ***.

-JuiceH

I'll stick by my statement.
400horsepower RX7 that sees nothing more than parking lot meets and streetlight stop and go seems boring.

Taking that 400 horsepower car to the track seems exciting.

Don't be so quick to jump into the toughguy mentality.

I'll accept being wrong if the 400 horsepower parking lot meet is overly exiciting though.

basically, there is going to be whiney crybaby bitches that are always talking **** and not backing it up. aka hypertek and drftwerks. just post and post and post and bitch and bitch and bitch and dont contribute **** to the forum at all.
there is always going to be fanboys and crybabies and whatnot, seriously, just learn to appreciate people have different tastes and run with that.
i love the risky devils cars, reamemiya cars, sexy knights, hell, i like the rediculous drift cars you see all the time at the tracks.
i like drifting, drag (not so much) autocross and rally
people have different tastes, so dont bash and say everyone is retarded for liking different things

risky, keep doing what youre doing, its your thing keep it up
