couldn't find it through search so thought i'd post one since i want to see some two tone fc's

Check out the Panda 7 thread. He is doing a sort of Initial D ae86 theme, pretty decent.

 

im thinking of doing my car with saphire blue and two tone like my parts car but i dont know what color to paint the bottom. like a dark blue, grey silver or black?

what do you think??

 

Personally i think most two tones make the car look like a boat. Boats seem to have those two tone paintjobs and that's just what it reminds me of

 

im good with jus one simple color.

i,ll be paintin mine two tone in the next month or so. but it will be on the sharp bodyline below the door handle. it will be 350z blue on the bottom and dark blue metallic on the top

yeah i kinda get what you mean by it looks like a boat but i like the look like sodrifter said.

oh and that is one sick seven KUZU....i would love to see it on the track!! where is it from?

I do have plans for a two-tone FC. Give me 3 years, but I'll have a thread for it when it goes down. I'm hopin it doesn't look like a "boat," i kinda built it in photoshop to get an idea, it should look real nice! FC2000 kit with CF rear diffuser. Top of car black, bottom of the front bumper black, CF hood, CF wangan spoiler, and the car painted Lexus Starfire Pearl.... mmm mmmmhhh, should be pure sex IMO!

here is my fc. followed by my vert that i sold. and another vert that i did some work on. 2 tones done by me.
i'll be in the paint booth in the up coming months to get a "Real" paint job. same scheme. different colors. be on the look out

I remember seeing a gold and black two-tone FC a while back. I thought I saved it to my comp but I guess not. Does anyone have the pics?

 

Crazy! The vert kinda has a "shark" look now.... I don't know why, but I kinda like it....

 

the coupe looks bad ***....never seen a two tone like that before. it looks like you toned the top of the car and the bottom of the car the same. correct me if im wrong lol

what colors did you use??

 

i used duplicolor spray paint. storm gray and some bright metalic blue? not sure exactly but its obious if you go look at the paint in autozone or some where.

it looks great if you know what your doing with it. and it lasts a long time. i was stupid and didnt use enough color befor i sanded and i burned threw the paint. but i am doing a "real" paint job with in 3-4 weeks
