Tweeter location and mount
Just get some nice 2 way speakers for the dash, idk what speakers for the doors as my wires refused to work and I couldnt put wires through the boot without cutting myself to **** on the metal.
I'd use 2way in the doors too, then get a nice sub/amp combo and dont run too much bass through the normal speakers and it'll sound nice.
I prefer clear loud music over loud crappy bass music btw, thats how I wire all cars and I've done maybe 8-10.
I never would put in those little tweaters :S

I put the tweeters where the A-Pillars meet the dash, on that little 3/4 inch vertcal "lip" that runs across the dash. My car didn't have door speakers - just the ones that point at your knees. I put some 4" Kicker drivers in there with the crossovers near them, then ran the tweeter wires under the dash to each tweeter. A little double sided tape on the back of each tweeter and they have stayed for years. Just turn the tweeters so that the wire is in the corner of the dash/a-pillar area and you can't see it at all. Sure, a small portion of the back of the tweeter is slightly visible through the windshield, but that's not a problem at all - you'd have to be looking for it.
In this pic you may be able to see the driver's side one "under" the A-Pillar gauges. They are at a nice height and sound great. Not too many other mounting options!

The best part of customizing a car is being creative on placement of things. I found that the under dash speakers provided great treb/mid sound thus I never would of put tweeters in my old fc.
Not sure what more I can say. Because the high frequencies are so directional you'll want the speakers somewhere that wont be blocked by anything. I had played with a ton of placements, and some were awful - either muffled or way too close to my face/ears. This seems to be a good compromise!
