Turbo 2 video - walk around and drive
Hello all,
Awhile back I posted a vid of my 1988 Turbo 2 on here, basically showing getting on the road again after the long winter.
I wanted to make another one showing the car in more detail, a walkaround and a good overall view of the car.
This is a 76k mile Rx-7 turbo, with about 2k on a new engine, and a lot of restore work, all OEM parts from mazda.
The car remains stock, right down to the all original paint. It looks and drives as new.
I will add the you tube link here. This is a special car, lots of vibe and tons of fun.

Yeah the gold/red- burgandy combo is my all time favorite.
Years ago I saw one in Omaha, where I live. A gold/red turbo, 88 I think.
It was showing wear but still had the vibe.
Thats the only one Ive seen ever. Its got to be the rarest.
A few weeks ago on ebay a guy in chicago had a 8k mile, 87 gold/red for sale.
It was the base model. He wanted 9.9k for it, I wrote him and he said it was sold.
The car is harder to keep clean. Lots of dust in my area, and when it rains, it leaves dirt.
Car is garaged all the time. When I got it, it didnt look like this... it looked sad.
I really had to use the compounds to revive the paint.
The front bumper still needs paint, it looks bad. Paint chips galore.
Getting a quote early next week to see what the gold paint will be, but I will probably have to remove everything again down to a shell, if I want it done right.
