Tsukuba fc3s super lap
#101
I actually think its the opposite lol. The last time they went for tsukuba time attack they had a hks sequential transmission that they used for daily. Now it looks like they switched back to the 5 spd and still shaved off .3 of a second. They added some more aero but from what i remember he takes them off when he dailys the car.

This fc has a lot of supernow parts and even the same front big brake system that is made by supernow. The interior dash is different the exterior is different (hood, wing, overfenders, wheels etc). They are running the same fc2000 amemiya bumper with similar huge aero canards. The supernow fc runs a Garage Kagotani hood instead of a tamon design and has no rear overfenders. The supernow fc runs small front wheels and an hks transmission. When I first saw this car a couple of years ago from the front I thought it was the supernow fc too. I used to have a lot of pictures of this fc in his developing stage but I need to find them in my archives lol

He changes his FC a lot to stay competitive and adds sponsors, that is why its fast.
Just how many REALLY fast FCs do you think there are in Japan? And black? And sponsored by Supernow and Top Fuel Racing?
I believe Supernow Engineering is Imaizumi San's his machine shop that sells parts, not a full service tuning garage!
????FC3S?Blog?????Minkara - The Car & Automobile SNS (Blog - Parts - Maintenance - Mileage)
Both vids are in his blog.

Mr. Imaizumi still own his fc, he finally ran TC2000 late last year after its absence for some years. He mainly focus on developing his orange Porsche gt3 rs now.
The OTHER black fc you see active now, is actually not black nor is it sponsored/affiliated with Super Now. That fc is a GT Limited model, came in the Infini green color. He is just a privateer time attack enthusiast. The name of his fc is Super Motobei. Motobei was a historic japanese samurai, fyi. It's a dedicated track car, not street registered. He is the fastest fc guy in Japan right now, aiming to break into the 55sec range on tc2000. He broke Imaizumi's record last year by a hair. He's friends with Super Now, they exchange a lot of feedback as you can see by their similar setup. He just installed a hks 6speed sequential transmission in hopes of shaving a second on his pb.
I was in Japan last November. I'll get around to sharing some awesome shot of time attack fc's on tc2000 for yall.

Yes, I stay inspired by them. The popularity of fc's in Japan is dying, for drifting and grip. Seeing how far the Super Motobei fc has gotten, really inspire fc enthusiast to push boundaries.
My friend who owns the white RE Amemiya Furinkazan fc, he was also inspired to bring his car back on the circuit. Hoping to attack Tsukuba soon, but for now he drive on smaller tracks around the Chubu region.
