skirts and rear half bumper are not OE

I dont remember what the S4 oe aero looks like but I would bet its just an aftermarket half bumper front and rear with some aftermarket skirts.

actually the rear kind of looks like erebuni...

interesting. I did kind of doubt they were OEM as I don't ever recall seeing this aero on any FC. Then again, I haven't seen too many verts. I was told it was S5 Vert Aero but checked that and didn't see any matches. I like the sides and the rear. The front is nice but I'm probably gonna go with something slightly more aggressive in the front. I've never seen an aftermarket front half bumper like that.

Wonder what it is. Anyone want to buy it??

I know what kit this is. Hold on and i will have a link. FYI, its rare! I have these side skirts molded onto my car. By far my favorite FC side skirts.

EDIT:

Finish line body kit. This was offered by the dealers in 1986 as a factory option.

Cheers man! Good looking out. I appreciate that. I really do like how clean the rear and sides are. It looks OEM to me, yanno? I may really like the front once I add a more aggressive lip to it as well.

Anyways, I'm not going to list it for sale, so once you're done your swap, PM me and find out if I still have it. My car is going in for paint in the middle of June, so I'll probably be taking that bumper off at that point!

No problem and sounds good man! It took me a solid 3 years to figure out what side skirts i had. When i found out it was a factory option i thought "hot damn, mazda actually made a nice aftermarket but simple aero".

I should have my swap complete/ running by late may so i will PM you in the future. Good luck with your progress, that's a nice vert you got.

Thanks! I like it! Having fun with it, going through it bit by bit. Replacing all bushings, swapping diff out for T2 setup with ATS guts, roll centre adjusters, tie rods, then I'm gonna address some HP issues.

Then new paint in June...FREE!!! A friend is has just opened a new shop with a body shop as well and they offered to "sponsor" my car since I'm always at the track. Just have to run their decals on my car and I get a free paint job with them molding the overfenders as well! Something that I would probably never ever spend money on to DO IT RIGHT. I could see myself spending 1K on paint, but a 1K paint job is horrible.....the job these guys are gonna do is top notch insurance grade work. I'm pretty excited to have a fresh looking 22 year old car.
