yeah this is pretty sad. wasn't sure where to post this. figured it may as well go into the 2nd gen section. feel sorry for the parents and the person who sold it to them.

Slick roads, high speed says the video.

Add and inexperienced young driver.

Tragedy.

I think the OP meant its usually the driver who walks away and it's someone close who takes the blow in these situations .. Not in the context of its never the drivers fault.

Why?

This was a pretty gruesome accident. That was more than a high speed accident. He was flying!

Yet another nail in the coffin that belongs to the ease of getting your driving license in America.

Yes, this story is sad, but I don't feel "bad" about it. Natural selection.

This may be a bit OT but how easy is it really to get your license in the US?

^ in NH you can just wait until youre 18 go take a written test and get it. no road test needed. but at 16 you need so many hours in the classroom and behind the wheel.

Hits a little close to home... this happened when I was 18, I was so lucky that it was a front-end collision.

It wasn't my fault at the time but I still think about it. I'm such a better driver now, it's unthinkable.

Wow. I just turn 19 the other day so that really hits close to me, especially since my brother is 17 and him and I always drive each others cars when we make new modifications (He has a 1985 Honda CRX SI.... Wicked rare especially with its foam spoiler and mud flaps...)
