I was giving a coworker a ride to work in my 88 na vert bone stock except loud greddy catback. Now this guy is one of those guys that thinks they know everything about anything. He gets in and as i pull off, He yells out "Yoo your car has too much torque from those mufflers, Your car doesn't need all that torque" I didnt even know how to respond to that lol.

My JDM motor came with a cut downpipe only a few inches long. I was running that open for a couple days before I had the exhaust custom made up. They said the same thing at my neighborhood gate lol.

(I was driving my 8 but same difference) At the gas pump last week and a guy in a kia soul pulled up behind me. This was the exchange.

him: I love those cars!
Me: its ok. Its just an automatic
Him: I was looking to get one a few years ago. Its got the rotech engine right?
Me: (wait, what did he just say) umm its a wankel rotary engine yea.
Him: what's it get for gas mileage?
Me: 19
Him: that's why I got this instead 35+
Me: (so his 2 choices were toaster or sports car?) I don't mind it. A little more for gas for a lot more of fun is a price I can live with.
