stock tach wrong? why?

stock tach wrong? why?
So my tach is off from my safc by about 800 rpm (lower than safc). I am pretty sure the safc is the correct one of the two judging by engine sound.
Any ideas why this would happen? A fix?

Mine too, gets worse higher the rpm
