Question Steelie Wheels on FC? Anyone?

Is anyone running steelies? I was thinking of picking up a set so that i can have some wheels i don't need to worry about while i learn to drift and autocross and other hoonage. So if anyone has pics please post 'em, thanks everyone!

Do it up. I ran 15" steelies on my last car most of the time and it looked ok. I have nice aftermarlet wheels but hardly used them. With the steelies, I didn't have to worry about corrosion or low pros in the winter, and the tire's height from rim helped with the rediculous potholes we have here. It's seriously dangerous.

Make sure you paint them and choose a decent tire.

Any pics of yours? I'm probably not going to "run" them per-se, cause i LOVE my RPF1s, but paint them some decent color and use them for fooling around and stuff

Those really do look good, and they offer some nice widths.

Here is my very first FC I have ever owned, about a week after I bought it (fresh wax). I am not sure what steelies those are, but I think they are off some sort of ford. 14x6

Ya i was thinking "picked" steelies, i got some for like 40 bucks that are 16x7 off a Crown Vic (that didn't have meshies), and i got stuck with them. I'm trying to decide whether to use them or sell them :/

Wellllll, they might have similar specs(16x7 +6ish) sooo depending on tire size, they will look good. Id say paint them white or something though, because black steelies look tacky as ****

Just to bump a year old thread- those are stock 4 lug car wheels IF the original purchaser was too cheap to get the phone dials. I have a base model here that's a VERY skimmed down model, the only options are AM/FM (not even cassette lol) & the phone dials, but I'd like to track down a set of steelies just to see how it would look had it been "more base" lol
