speedhunters fc racecar build
Sorry to post another speedhunters story, but I thought this would be of some interest. I don't visit the site that often, but apparently someone there likes fc's because they seem to pop up often.

He's a bit of a newbie (to RX-7s) though.

obviously.
Anyway, good luck to him. It should be pretty cool....heck, it's an RX-7, it's already cool.

The S5 had just a little more than 100k on the clock so I'm hoping the internals are still in good shape.

I'm not too familiar with these cars...

he got a s5 parts car, and is putting everything into that s4.. when from the pics of that s5, it looks pretty solid.
you should see his first introduction post on there.
speedhunters is cool, beware they create fanboys lol
you can throw a rusted vw on there and it will instantly become cool lol

They've got a lot of crazy stuff on there. I'm not a big drift fan so that stuff sometimes gets old, but it's still interesting.

Really, you guy are questioning why someone would rather a s4 than a s5 for a race car? The s4 looks like a base model, it's got a wiperless hatch and he said he's gonna take the 5 lug from the s5 GXL.

Like *** said if you read the comments he said hes using the s4 because of the lack of a sunroof.
I dig speed hunters, pretty sweet cars and amazing pictures most of the time. It's not all drift stuff, they cover plenty of F1 and GT style racing.

He had everything for the S5..it had a little over 100,000KMS on the car. My friend helped him dismantle the S5, the thing was a running driving car, but he was pretty set on the lack of sunroof and all that.
I didn't realize it had a sunroof (can't see it in the pic). That makes sense. Is a stripped S4 chassis lighter than a stripped S5 chassis? What's he need the S5 for? Just engine stuff? He surely doesn't need the interior.
